Bordeaux Proteome regularly offers practical and/or theoretical training for the student and scientific community.

The points discussed during these days relate to the technologies offered on our site, namely: the separation of proteins via the various electrophoretic techniques available, the analysis of gel images, the identification, characterization and quantification of proteins by spectrometry of mass and bioinformatics analysis of data.

Our audience is made up of: middle and high school students, students (BTS, Masters, Doctoral students) and staff from the scientific community (technicians, engineers, researchers, post-docs, etc.).

We are ready to welcome interested people and adapt the content and duration of the training on a case-by-case basis.

Training examples

• User day: welcome of researchers for presentation of the activities of the platform and discussion around scientific projects and their feasibility
• Training from 2 days to a week around separation techniques and/or mass spectrometry and bioinformatics techniques for protein analysis
• Practical work (duration 3 days) for students of the National School of Biomolecular Technology in Bordeaux
• Reception of trainees of variable duration
